Dr. Quest is called to investigate the unusual eruptions of an island's local volcano, which is the result of Dr. Zin building an invisible ray gun within the base of it.

- This is the fourth and last appearance of Dr. Zin within the original series.
Goofs[]
- The tarantula is depicted as a very dangerous spider and can easily attack from sudden movements. In reality, they're harmless to humans and their venom is mild (even though the bite is painful), which is weaker than a wasp's sting.
